Do you have stained crooked teeth and want a straighter whiter smile? Then veneers could be for you.
If you have teeth which are chipped or crooked or you are just not happy with your smile then this can be socially embarrassing. We totally understand and know how this can affect you in social situations and also in some cases even struggle to smile in photos and in other occasions. If this is the case then veneers may be a solution for you
If your front teeth are stained, chipped, or malaligned, veneers will give you a good life-like appearance with minimum tooth adjustment.
A veneer is a facing on the front of your teeth usually your top teeth, it is just like a false finger nail.
Veneers are made out of porcelain and are used mainly for aesthetic reasons.
Porcelain veneers make teeth look natural and healthy, and because they are very thin and are held in place by a special strong bond (rather like super-glue) very little preparation of the tooth is needed.
Porcelain veneers can improve the colour, shape and position of teeth.
A precise shade of porcelain can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured or stained tooth or to lighten front teeth (usually the upper ones) generally.
Veneers can also be used to close small gaps, when orthodontics (braces) are not suitable.
If one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it into line with the others.
So with a number of veneers we can alter a smile and giving you the confidence to smile and no longer have to be concerned or even avoid those social situations. If you would like to know more then give us a call on 01772 717316 or fill in the form above and we will get back to you

"I'm quite nervous about dental work but the staff provided excellent explanations which made me feel relaxed and it wasn't that painful at all & I'm quite soft."
Dr. Nadim Majid qualified from Liverpool Dental school in 2001 and since then has worked in Lancashire for a number of years. He decided to undertake a career in dentistry as I found it was a good mix of science and art and also gave me the ability to help people and make a difference for them.
This really hit home when he worked in a nursing home for a short time and actually saw the impact upon the health and well being of patients whom had lost their teeth the impact was significant on the general health and well being and this is something Dr. Majid wanted to make sure he helped others avoid.
Dr. Majid is trained in hypnosis, sedation for nervous people, dental implants as well as braces. He lives in Lancashire with his two children (twins) and his wife who is a teacher. Dr. Majid has always and will continue to be focused on producing top quality services that his patients have come to expect and appreciate.
