5 Reasons you should feel safe about coming to our practice
As dental practices throughout England prepare to reopen from 8th June, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure our patients that ensuring the maximum possible safety and comfort during your dental treatment has always been our top priority and continues to be at the heart of everything we do.
1. We ensure the highest levels of hygiene
Here at Lifestyle Dental and Implant Clinic, we have always been committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, and infection control has always been at the heart of how we do things. Our team are extensively trained in preventing cross-infection, adhering at all times to the UK’s clinical standards known as universal precautions.
Thanks to the measures already in place, you can be completely confident that your dental treatment minimises the risk of contracting infection. In order to ensure maximum protection for our patients and staff, we have also introduced some additional Covid-19 PPE in line with current guidelines.
2. We’ve introduced additional hygiene measures for visitors
As well as the existing hygiene procedures within our practice, we have also set up a hand sanitizer station for visitors and politely request that all visitors make use of this on entry to our premises. We will also be cleaning and disinfecting all touchpoints regularly.
3. We are Covid-19 conscious
As part of our duty of care to both patients and staff, we will now ask you if you are experiencing any of the recognised symptoms of Covid-19 when booking an appointment. If you do have symptoms or are currently isolating, we would kindly ask you to delay your treatment until the recommended isolation period is over.
In the case of a dental emergency, please contact us by telephone in the first instance and a member of the team will be happy to advise.
4. Video Consultations now available
We are pleased to be able to offer all of our patients the opportunity to have a video consultation. This facility has been set up within our practice website and is available to any patient who requires it.
5. We’ve introduced social distancing measures
In order to support social distancing, we have introduced several changes. We have rearranged the patient lounge area to allow more space for patients and set up a system to allow for contactless entry, meaning that medical history forms can be completed securely from the comfort of your home.
We will also be working carefully to ensure that our appointment schedules allow for social distancing as much as possible by having the lowest number of people in the building at all times.
