Dear Patients,

I hope you’re well. As you may be aware the Government has introduced a 2nd lockdown from the 5th of November. As part of these measures medical appointments are to continue so we will be continuing to operate the way we have been doing for the last few months and please attend your appointments as normal unless you are isolating or have symptoms or awaiting a test result.

You will probably be aware of the changes we have made since the last lockdown but if not they are listed below .

• We are still operating a close door policy we now have a video intercom and when you attend please press the button to be allowed into the building.
• Prior to attending your appointment please can you complete the screening questionnaire this is accessed via a link in the appointment reminder email or SMS message. Just click on the link and it will take you to a secure portal which allows you to complete the questions.
• If you can use the hand sanitiser and put some disposable gloves once in the practice and also leave all mobile phones, keys and handbags in the lounge area in a secure box.
• We have all the relevant PPE now and where possible are using reusable PPE this is much more environmentally friendly. We have taken a few extra measures in the building like installing extractor fans which remove the air by up to 70 times an hour and also installed air purifiers which clean the air. We are also using foggers to disinfect the air in-between treatments. Please be assured that the dental environment was always and continues to be a very safe place due to the protocols that all dentists are required to implement.

Karen has now joined the team as an additional receptionist and admin and will help take your calls. We are also looking at getting an extra phone line to help with busy times.
